Life wasn’t always sweet for Fondant. Far too young to be sent out into the wind, she began racing at less than a year old. Rather than living the life of a racer, she dreamed of a home with pillows as soft as cotton candy, a bed as warm as a cookie fresh from the oven, and treats in abundance. Proving to be more resilient and determined than your ordinary baker’s confectionary, our darling Fondant awaited rescue for three days on a stranger’s patio.
