Shrimp and Toast

Hatch Date: approx 2017 Toast (gray and yellow) and Shrimp (white) are two beautiful well-bonded female cockatiels who are looking for a forever home together. We believe they are around 6 or 7 years old. These two birds are semi-hand-tamed, but they will require further training if more direct interaction is desired. Sometimes Toast will come out of the cage, but neither of them are strong flyers. They are relatively quiet most of the time, but they can get a little noisy when they get excited. They are quiet at night. They both like toys made of fabric. They are interested in people at a distance. They will chirp when somebody enters the room, but they get a little uncomfortable if a stranger gets too close. We hope you will consider welcoming these wonderful gals into your home. They have been disease-tested for psittacosis and PBFD. Shrimp and Toast are being fostered in Newtown, PA, and will require an in-person visit before adoption. We will not ship our adoptable birds. For the Love of Birds is a network of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA. As our adoptable birds are living in volunteer homes, we only allow approved adopters to make the required visits.
