Adam Sandler I was given a copy of these notes for my approval. All I can say is, "You are correct, madam!!" A. S. At 5 years of age, Adam Sandler came to HSHC, finding NOTHING funny about life. He was afraid of EVERYTHING! His reaction was to hiss - because every sight and sound was new and scary. He was so scared and reactive that we initially thought he would have to be a barn cat. But then a shelter employee decided to give him a chance and realized that underneath that deep fear was a beautiful, gentle, funny soul. So Adam Sandler was sent out to foster and after a few months of intense TLC, here's what his foster mom says about Adam Sandler now: "Adam Sandler is just like his namesake - he's that shy, quirky, somewhat clumsy and totally dorky guy you can't help but fall in love with! He hisses much less often now - but even if he does, I ignore it and keep approaching, and he will dissolve into a puddle of purrs. Adam Sandler acts like a tough guy, but the reality is that he's a lover! He craves attention and wants to be petted all the time. He will trip you up because he will wind around your feet, begging for attention and following you. And even though he's 5-years-old, he acts like a kitten regarding toys! Adam Sandler has done such an amazing job settling into his new role of family cat - he loves people of all ages and other cats & he doesn't mind our dogs! He just wants to be loved!"
