My Story
Alvie & Williow were adopted during the pandemic pet craze by a couple who eventually broke up shortly thereafter and decided they could no longer keep the cats. It was terribly heartbreaking to see them gain and lose a home so quickly, but we are now determined to find them the perfect owner(s) to meet their special needs!
Both cats are classified as special needs, which is why we are in search of a true hero on Earth to step up, take a chance, and do a good deed for these innocent animals in need. God made them perfectly imperfect for a reason! And that reason is their incredibly sweet and kind disposition, making them so easy to love!
Alvie, is a male, beautifully white cat, 8-years-young, with a sweet and docile demeanor. He's a slow-mover due to a unique "sway" in his hips, resulting from an old injury that healed resulting in this interesting gate. But Alvie doesnt allow his disability to stop him from being super friendly to his people, and forever searching for someone to brush his stunning white fur! The other issue with Alvie is he does come with an FIV+ diagnosis, which does not mean he won't live a long and healthy life (he is already 8 after all). But these reasons cause people to look the other way!
Alvie adores his sister Willow, and refused to leave her side, which is why this one we ask to be a double adopt! Willow is a female, black, feline, and much younger at 5 years-old, than her big brother, whom she looks up to! This sweet little girl is absolutely precious to anyone that meets her, and thats due to her naturally crossed-eyes! Her face is a true delight to anyone that happens upon her, they cant help but immediately melt and fall in love with her goofy little face! She has a naturally submissive nature and as a result of her being returned, it takes her slightly longer to warm up to new people than her brother. But usually follows his lead, once you've won over Alvie, Willow will soon follow!
This bonded pair deserve more than the lot in life they've been given. They are thriving in foster care, but we really want to see them fall into the perfect home with the right family that will accept them for their imperfections and just want nothing more than to give these sweet babies a happy life!
Both cats have been spayed/neutered, Vaccinated, and rabies. We will review their medical diagnoses with whomever adopts them to help contribute to any immediate medical needs to get them off to the best start possible!
