My Story

Alvin is one of the infamous Waterbury22. He and his housemates came to our shelter after being dumped outside Waterbury Animal Control in the snow, in freezing temperatures, covered in their own excrement. After a couple of months in foster care where he was given proper vet care, good food, and some much needed TLC, Alvin is ready for his forever home. He has lived with many other cats and gets along fine with them. Alvin is a cautious, worried boy who is working to overcome the trauma of his previous living situation and finally learning how to be a cat. He is still a bit hissy at the initial meeting but settles quickly to enough pets and chin scratches. Alvin would be best suited for a home with adults only and at least one other kitty. NO dogs for Alvin! Alvin is about 5-6 years old (maybe younger). He is neutered, vaccinated, tested FeLV/FIV negative, and is microchipped. Alvin is current on flea/tick prevention. To meet Alvin, please complete an application by visiting our website www.HalfwayHomeRescue.org. Adoption donation $250.
