Amber Leaf

Amber Leaf and her sister, Autumn Leaf, are the sweetest little "cali-tabbies" you've ever seen. Found as strays with kittens in tow, they had a rough start to life. They're now super easy to please and happy to simply be out of the elements. Mixed in with her typical tabby stripes, Amber has orange flames throughout her coat, including a heart-shaped orange spot on her head and a little orange tip at the end of her tail. She is a really beautiful, petite little girl with green eyes and adorable, slightly knock-kneed back legs! Amber is the more outgoing of the pair, always a few steps ahead of her sis. She is incredibly calm and confident; unfazed by car rides, new locations, new faces, and loud noises. Give her 5 minutes to sniff around and it'll be like she's been there her whole life. Her favorite activities include relaxing in the sun, looking out the window, rolling onto her belly when offered pets, and "making biscuits" like it's her full time job (her sister is equally committed!). Give her a little head scratch or just say something sweet to her and she'll close her eyes and start kneading contentedly (check out the video!). Amber and Autumn are happy to snooze most of the day. They get the zoomies for about an hour each evening after dinner, where they "hunt" each other, climb their cat tower, and tumble around with enthusiasm. After that, they're ready for bed and sleep quietly through the night. Amber would love to cuddle with you in bed if allowed, especially when it's cold out, but would also be fine with her sister in their own area. They truly seem to be able to adapt to any situation, even expressing interest in befriending their foster house-mate, a 45 lb. dog. Amber and Autumn would love to be part of your family and are ready to make themselves at home!
