They didn't want to tell me when I arrived at HSHC as a stray because they didn't want to hurt my feelings. But I wormed it out of the interviewer lady (IL). My microchip indicated I had an owner. However, she was contacted seven times before the shelter had to give up reuniting us. When my feelings mended, I realized I needed to find a new human to hitch my wagon to. I am 8-years-old and have a unique coloring on my coat. I'm a Torbie (Tortoiseshell + Tabby) with a light face and a raccoon-striped tail. The first day the IL came to talk with me, I immediately went up to her for some pets. I even hopped on her lap and invited more petting and scratching. I was feeling terrific about all the personal attention. However, when another cat stopped by to investigate, I had to grrrr to get him to walk away. I do enjoy having all your attention directly on moi! Hey, I can live with other cats; I just like the focus on me. I am a petite, friendly, and incredibly personable kitty who deserves to be someone's treasured pet. My first owner need not apply. 7-23-24
