Meet Arthur!
Arthur was found as a stray and he was in really rough shape. The person who found Arthur began reaching out to rescues trying to find a place who could take him, and we just couldn't say no to that face! When he came to us, Arthur was very matted and had an abscess on his tail. He is a very nice boy and now that he has spent some time healing he is ready to find his forever home.
Arthur is positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). However, cats with FIV can live long and health lives and are not much different than other cats. While cats with FIV are considered immunocompromised, the cat they need is often not much different than that of other cats. Cats with FIV can live with cats who are FIV negative, as FIV is transmitted through deep puncture wounds and mating (which wont be a problem for Arthur!). Please ask us for more information on FIV positive cats!
Arthur is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, positive for FIV but negative for FeLV and heartworm. He is estimated to be around 1-2 years old.
