My name is Artie. My foster Mom changed it from Ninja because I reminded her of a character from Laugh In. Like Artie Johnson, I like to sit behind a plant on the screen porch. She imagines me saying his line, “Very interesting, but stupid!”
Because I am the quiet type and like to observe, she thinks I am smart and clever. I am a very low maintenance kitty. At this time, I am not much of a lap kitty but if you pick me up and put me on your lap, I won’t fight. I have never been aggressive - No scratching or biting..ever. My foster mom can even trim my nails. I get along with other cats because I leave them alone. I am starting to relax enough to play with a laser toy and the cat dancer. I eat with the other cats. I used to wait until they were done. I LOVE Churu treats, the screen porch and watching squirrels play. I am so grateful to have a safe place live. Thank you Humane Association of the Lowcountry (HAL) for saving me.
