Ashes is a beautiful senior cat. She was found as a stray, attempts to find her home through her microchip were not successful. Ashes is a recent transfer from the shelter that took her in. She has been in a cage for seven months with no leads for adoption. Ashes is FIV+. She is very friendly. Ashes can go to a home as an only pet provided she gets lots of attention and is not left alone for long periods of time. Ashes can be adopted into a home with other FIV+ friendly cats, AND she can be adopted into a home with FIV- cats as long as all are friendly and get along well, no fighting. FIV IS PASSED FROM CAT TO CAT ONLY AND ONLY THROUGH DEEP BITE WOUNDS AS IN AGGRESSIVE FIGHTING. IT IS NOT PASSED THROUGH CASUAL CONTACT, GROOMING, SHARING WATER/FOOD BOWLS, SHARING BEDDING.
