Baby (originally Theo)

Baby came to HART with the name “Theo,” but that just didn’t seem to fit this dainty and gentle girl, so “Baby” she has become. Her foster mom has worked tirelessly to help Baby grow in confidence, and she’s now ready for her forever home. Baby is sweet and loving. She doesn’t like being held or picked up, but she LOVES affection on her terms. Playtime is the way to her heart and will help Baby’s future family bond with her. She's full of energy — but when it’s time to rest, she will lie on the couch next to her foster mom. Baby loves a comfy window seat where she can watch birds and squirrels. She can be a picky eater but enjoys treats (rather like some human youngsters!). She gets along with the fellow cats in her foster home, playing well with others. Born in August 2023, Baby has been spayed, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and is up-to-date on vaccinations. She occasionally gets a watery eye and some wheeziness that doesn’t slow her down. Baby is still a bit skittish but has come a long way. She will need a calm household, and it will take her a good while before she decides she can trust someone.
