Ban'ei

Hello there! My name is Ban'ei. I'm a sweet and somewhat shy DMH Tortoiseshell lady born around April 22, 2018. My striking green eyes carefully observe all activity around me. Even though I might tuck myself away shyly when we first meet, I will come out of my safe space for gentle pets and food. Life before coming to Wild Blue Cats was cramped, as I shared my space with many other cats in a 1-BDRM apartment. This means I'm comfortable snuggling with other feline friends but a little reserved when it comes to human interaction. I'm gradually learning the joy of one-on-one human companionship. I love gentle pets and briefly being brushed, which is perfect for helping my fur grow back beautifully on one side where I was shaved due to matting. I can't wait to show you how beautiful my coat will be after some spa treatments and good food to fill me out a bit. Because I have not had much human interaction in the past, it would be best if I could go to a quiet home where my adopters would help me come out of my shell slowly. I dream of a quiet corner where I can bloom at my own pace, feeling safe and cherished. Older children (12 years and up) who will respect my space and teach me to play with wand toys and laser lights would be wonderful. In a new home, I will need time to adjust in a small space until I feel at ease, and gradually be allowed access to other rooms in the home. I'm not sure how I would react with dogs but possibly a gentle low energy dog would be ok if you follow Wild Blue's instructions for introducing us slowly.
