Bandit

About Bandit from his foster: Bandit is an incredibly intelligent, playful cat who loves a good snuggle. He's the kind of cat who would love to sleep on your chest all night long, and then learn how to use buttons to speak in the morning! He could do well with another high energy, playful kitty, but he is also territorial and might be best as a solo cat. He really wants somebody who will shower him with love and attention, and bonus points for somebody who would really love to teach him tricks, as this is where he would thrive! High-fives, "shoot 'em dead, etc. We call him the Show Cat, and have written many songs for him, as he is certainly the star of the show!! As far as his playing style, he loves to chase things on the ground, and will even play fetch with you, especially if it's a ball with texture that he can easily pick up to bring back to you! He even plays hide and seek. He will basically learn any game that you teach him and reinforce with repetition! While a wonderful and sparkling cat, everyone has their weak points. Bandit was diagnosed with stomatitis gingivitis when he was 1.5 years old, and all of his teeth except two have been removed. He's been in more or less perfect health since then, with annual check ups and any as-needed vet visits in between. The lack of teeth have no impact on his life, you honestly wouldn't even notice it if we hadn't told you! He does well on a diet of dry or wet food as far as his teeth are concerned, although wet food is always best! While he's great with dogs and kids, he does not love sharing a litter box with another cat, so this is something to keep in mind. And he does suffer from hairballs. But if you want a highly intelligent, motivated, and very attentive cat, Bandit is your guy!
