My Story

Meet Batty, a sweet 7-year-old orange tabby cat currently in search of a quiet and loving home. Batty's favorite pastime is lounging around in cozy spots, enjoying the peace and comfort of a familiar environment. As a blind cat, he may initially be cautious and take time to adjust to new surroundings, relying on gentle guidance and patience. Batty is friendly with other calm and friendly cats but would thrive best in a tranquil household without rambunctious animals or young children. Despite his initial wariness, once Batty feels secure, he shows his affectionate side, making him a loyal and gentle companion for those willing to provide a calm and loving environment. If you are interested in adopting or meeting Batty, fill out an application at apl-shelter.org (for adopting) or come visit in-person at the Animal Protective League, 1001 Taintor Road in Springfield. The APL is open every day from noon to 5 p.m.
