My Story

Beaker came to PCAPS in April, with multiple chemical burns on his back. Through this recovery, he has remained very friendly and people focused, and he is eager to find his forever home. His foster carer reports: In the years I've fostered cats, I've never encountered such a sweet, friendly kitty. Despite his wounds, from the first day he came into our house he was ready to sit on laps and purr, and purr and purr!. This has remained his favorite thing to do, so if you want a true lap-cat, Beaker is your boy. Beaker gets along with his foster family's two cats, is inquisitive about their little Shih Tzu, and can be found playing with the dog's tail . On the other hand, he does not love the big dog. Beaker enjoys typical cat toys, and loves chasing a laser pointer. Be advised, because he likes being around people, he will sometimes get underfoot. He also is learning not to jump on tables and counters :-) If you want a cat that will cuddle with you and help you with your computer work, Beaker is the perfect cat for you!
