Beans

*** Beans is at our Cat & Craft adoption center in Vista. *** Black/rust/buff tortoiseshell, short hair spayed female, born approx. 3/16/22, #17480 Cats: gets along well Dogs: unknown Children: older respectful kids Beans first came to The Rescue House as a small kitten, grew up in foster care, and was adopted when she was old enough. Her adoptive home was great and she was a happy kitty until her human parents got a divorce. While Beans did make the move into a small new apartment with her mom, she took the transition hard and in particular was having trouble adjusting to the much smaller space. She has returned to our care to find a home where she can once again be that happy-hearted kitty. Beans is a chatty and vivacious kitty! She has always been a vocal cat who enjoys plenty of sparkling conversations and spending time with her people. Beans loves to cuddle and will climb up on you in order to get those cuddles, so be ready when you sit down! As a younger girl, she's still very interested in playtime and wants your involvement, so bring out those interactive wands every day to give her a good workout: she especially loves to hunt the toys you fly around with the pole (and may not want to let it go once she catches it). Beans is overall a confident kitty, with the sweet spunkiness common to tortoiseshells, though she can easily startle at an unexpected sound. When guests come over she departs for another room initially though curiosity will bring her out to interact if the visit lasts a while. Beans gets along well with other cats. We do not know her thoughts on dogs. If treated with gentle respect, she would likely be okay with older children who are past the toddler stage.
