She and her siblings came to GRASP scared and semi-feral after spending the first two months of their life outside. It took time, patience, and ongoing socialization efforts in foster care to get them to warm up to and trust humans. They have learned to thrive indoors and with their foster humans and other resident cats. Beatrice is sweet, playful, curious, and energetic. She loves spending time playing with her siblings (Eli, Hugo, Cecil, Quinn), other resident cats, as well as her humans especially when they have wand toys and actively play with her. She enjoys tall cat towers, having access to lots of windows to watch birds from, being pet, and getting lots of treats and will purr up a storm for those things. She is still a bit timid when being quickly or directly approached with unpredictable movements and may tense up, gently hiss, or scoot away, but we feel she will continue to blossom into a very friendly and even snuggly cat with enough love and patience as she gets to know you. Beatrice is looking for a home with folks who are somewhat experienced kitten owners and are willing to help her continue to blossom her confidence and trust in people. She is mischievous and needs an adopter familiar with kitten energy and curiosity. She is also looking for a home with either one of her siblings or other friendly cats in order to bond. She has not met children or dogs and it is unknown how she would handle either. Apply to adopt today!
