Hello, I'm Bedwyn, a sweet-natured DMH black and brown tabby female with a cute "lip stick" mouth. I have an approximate birthdate of around April 22, 2018. I grew up in the company of many cats in a confined area, which means I'm quite the expert at being a good friend to other felines. However, it also means I didn't get to spend much time with humans, so I'm still learning how wonderful they can be. I've discovered that human contact can be quite pleasant -- I enjoy being petted, and I've even started some brief lap time sessions, which are quite cozy! I'm still shy though, so a tender and patient approach works best with me. With a little time and your gentle touch, I'll continue to blossom into a confident and loving companion. I like being brushed, which not only keeps my coat looking fabulous but also provides a perfect moment for us to bond and for me to feel safe and loved. Full body brushing and petting inevitably initiates a roller coaster motion in my body as I delightfully lean into your hand strokes from head to tail. I'm still working on being calm around daily activity and noise, so a peaceful environment would be best. I think I would do well with older (12+ years) kids and possibly a gentle dog if they don't invade my space. I may take some time to feel at ease in a new home, and I will need a slow introduction following Wild Blue's instructions to make a gentle transition with any new pets.
