Betty Boop is a sweet and shy long-haired black Himalayan cat who is on the hunt for her forever home! She enjoys being in the company of people but prefers that they keep their distance at first. She has made strides in being more social since being in her foster home and we're eager to see the progress she'll continue to make in her forever home! Miss Boop is understandably timid at first but we believe that with enough love and patience, she will become a great companion for someone. She's really enjoyed being around the other cats in her foster home, so if your current cat needs a feline companion, look no further! Betty Boop is looking for an understanding adopter that can let her get comfortable at her own pace. She came from the streets of Houston as a stray mama cat and had several litters of kittens before finally being trapped and brought into Austin Siamese Rescue.
