Bhaal

What my friends at ACC say about me: I am looking for a home with a patient person. I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe. Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy! A volunteer writes: I think Bhaal knows the outgoing cats get the most oohs and ahhs, so he's been trying in his own way to be like them. But Bhaal's the type to overthink each move he makes when he makes new friends. My heart goes out to him as I watch him trying to choose the best way to introduce himself and doing his own version of the hokey pokey. Putting one paw out at a time before reconsidering and trying the other paw, making friends with Bhaal may take time but is worth every second. Bhaal may not have come out of his cubby when I last visited but used all of his baby cat strength to push his head into my hand. Leaning his fluffy little neck into my hands, Bhaal cuddles in a way that make sense to him. If I could talk with him in a way he'd understand, I'd tell him that I welcome and appreciate his efforts. I'd tell him that he's amazing just the way he is and that I know his forever family will feel the same.
