Meet Bibs! Bibs was previously living as part of an established cat colony, but he came to TCR when neighbors of the colony caretakers began to complain about the number of cats in the neighborhood. Bibs grew up relying on people for food, so he is no stranger to humans. Bibs is a funny little cat who *really* wants to be friendly but still can be just a bit skeptical of humans. You'll often find him dancing around just out of arm's reach... until he trusts you, then he is easy to pet, pick up, and handle. Bibs is not shy when it comes to mealtimes, and he will let you know when he is hungry! He can be bribed easily with Churu treats and other yummy snacks. This will be a great way for any future adopter to weasel into his heart. He is still learning to trust humans enough to let his guard fully down to play, but we think once he is totally comfortable, he will be zooming all over the place. Bibs enjoys other cats and would do best being adopted along with one of the cats from his colony, or into a home with another welcoming cat that he can be friends with. We think that Bibs could do well in a home with older, cat-savvy, and patient kiddos, but very young or loud kids might be a bit too much. Bibs is estimated to be about two years old.
