"Bijou and Frenchie" were trapped in a trailer park community which does not take very good care of their strays. This brother and sister were born under a trailer, flea infested and starved. Staff was hopeful the pair would fully domesticate but sadly they have not. They are scared yet not aggressive. A barn/warehouse situation would suite them perfectly.
The shelter currently has an appointment-only policy. This is required due to HUGE burden on the Shelter to care for the many rescued or surrendered cats arriving here daily. Therefore, we ask potential adopters to fill out our application, prior to a scheduled meeting. The staff is very accommodating, and we welcome any inquires. The more adoptions increase, the better chance this policy will reverse. So, please spread the word on our very adoptable cats.
