Blu is a handsome DSH blue-gray and white tuxedo male born approximately 5/28/2018. "Hi, my name is Blu. A very nice lady found me outside, stranded with bruises, deep cuts, scrapes, scabs, and missing tufts of fur. She thinks I was attacked by an outdoor predator - yikes! - and I was turned over to a city shelter. I was not available for adoption - only a rescue group could spring me out of the shelter. Thankfully, I was so sad and pathetic that New Beginnings wanted to help me. Four weeks ago (May 5th), I started my journey of pawsitive healing. Now I am a happy, bigger, and healthier boy! I like to roll around on the floor, show my belly, and receive lots of rubs on my head, neck, and chin - those are the "GOAT" - how did I live without all that before? Cat toys are new to me, so I pick and choose the ones I like (soft, cloth balls and strings) and I entertain myself all the time. I am still learning to be a 'good boy' and if you are patient with me, I will be your best boy! I sometimes forget that I have no worries about where my next meal will come from, that only nice people are in my life now, and no scary predators are waiting around every corner. I am learning to trust people and relax more. I think I like this new life! I will let you know when I am ready for a snuggle when I climb up on you and flop on your lap to get some of those sweet chin rubs! I am ready for my new home - come and get me! I will do well with an experienced cat owner." Blu is microchipped and currently in a foster home. His adoption fee is $105.
