From foster mom: When I first laid eyes on Blueberry & Oakley, they were in separate cages and looked scared.
They both came from different locations and bonded while in foster care.
It sure didn't take long for Blueberry (BB for short) to start her loud purr machine. She became lovey pretty much immediately. Her eyes have a unique orange hue and she was thin. She has been enjoying the steady flow of nutritious food and it is noticeable in her energy and her coat has become more healthy and soft.
When BB and Oakley were put into a crate, they immediately bonded and became instant sisters. Oakley does have one disability in that she has one eye and was a little more shy to come out of her shell than BB. Now she comes promenades all over the house like she owns it but still keeps "an eye" on us. Oakley came to us with an eye infection so bad that her eye was about to burst All in all, these 2 ladies will be adaptable in a home that is a little more quiet.
