My Story

Meet Bob! Bob is a senior cat that was living outside by the river for several years, but he was obviously someone’s pet at one point because he loves to love people! When found, Bob was being fed regularly with other ferals in a colony when his rescuer realized something special about him; in fact he came up to his rescuer and was asking for her to help him. Bob has one old eye injury (his right eye), but doesn’t seem to mind and has been vetted. Upon his vet exam, Bob was diagnosed with a fast thyroid. He receives thyroid medication morning and night by cream rubbed in his ear, which he loves and thinks is his massage! He’s also had a full dental exam and had some teeth pulled. Bob doesn’t ask for much except a can of wet food (Friskies pate) for breakfast and dinner. Bob would LOVE to be someone’s soft and cozy snuggle buddy. If you are interested in meeting Bob, please submit an inquiry through PetFinder with questions or to schedule a time to meet, or visit our website at uccryakima.org (http://uccryakima.org/) and click on "adoption application" if you think Bob is the one for you! Please remember that rescue cats have a past and will need someone to be patient and kind with them as they settle in to their new home. We would be more than happy to help educate and provide advice through the rehoming process.
