My Story

12/30/2009 Sadly, Bobbi the bobtail crossed over the Rainbow Bridge today. We are not sure why but he didn't want to eat anything for the past few days and just wasn't himself. Before we could get him in a carrier and take him to our vet's, he passed away in his foster home.

Bobbi was with his foster parents for almost 8 years. He was a shy cat but was fine with his foster mom. He always loved to be brushed and just liked company.

Bobbi will be missed.

Update on Bobbi!! Bobbi seems to be doing well after his surgery. Even though he had 21 teeth extracted he seems to have recovered. He has three teeth left but seems to do fine with eating his food. Hopefully this will improve his overall health down the road.

Please help Bobbi! We recently took Bobbi to see our vet due to the recent issues he was having with chewing his food. The vet looked at is teeth and had us schedule surgery to have most of his teeth extracted. Bobbi's teeth are in bad shape and this needs to be done in order for him to be able to chew his food. Please help us help Bobbi. The animal hospital we work with gives us a discount but because of the multiple extractions, Bobbi's bill was expensive due to the 21 teeth they had to extract. If you can help Bobbi out by donating a few dollars to help pay for his dental surgery, we would be very greatful.

Bobbi was part of a rescue that took place over 4 years ago in NJ. He is the last remaining cat that is still looking for a forever home. Bobbi will not give up hope and he knows there is someone out there who is looking for him.

Bobbi is about 5 years old now and really wants to get out of his foster home. He has seen many of his friends get adopted and just can't understand why he is still with us. Bobbi gets along great with other cats and would do well in a multi-cat household. He isn't too fond of dogs or young kids. Bobbi is laid back and would probably do well in a home with another kitty or two that has the same personality. He loves to play with his laser pointer toy and will chase it around for hours until he gets tired. Bobbi may be a little shy at first in a new home but who wouldn't be after living in foster care for almost 4 years. If given a small amount of time, Bobbi will be your best friend. He loves to be petted and really likes to be brushed. He just wants someone to show him what it means to be loved and cared for.

Bobbi is already neutered, vaccinated and FeLV and FIV negative. He just needs you to take him home. He promises he will be very happy and will give you lots of purrs in return if you adopt him!
