"The Bon" is a glorious senior cat who is cranky, demanding and wants everyone to stay off of her lawn and not interrupt the birds she is watching. She is curvy and not about to go on a diet. She is happy the way she is and wants someone who will appreciate her curmudgeonly ways, share a bite of cheeseburger with her and is not into anything that is too loud or active that might interfere with her naps in the sun. She has had a rough go of life til now and has lost several of her lives, many of her teeth and some of her trust in humans and other cats. As such, you need to earn her respect and with respect comes the sweetest of purrs, snuggles and lap time. Will there be an occasional swat, judgmental look and hiss at a cat that gets in her face - heck yeah. Is that all deserved and will it come to make you smile at her and love her even more - undoubtedly. She is the best fireball of an old lady and deserves all the spoiling.
