My Story

Bones got his name because of how thin he was when rescued from the streets. His spine and hip bones were clearly visible and he was starving. He was grumbling and scarfing down food for a few weeks until he felt safe and knew he would always have food. He was already neutered so he was loved enough at one point in his life by someone. His lab work showed no indications of why he was so thin so we can only assume he was out on the streets trying to fend for himself for a long time! Bones is now a confident boy who enjoys lots of human attention. He likes to play, enjoys lots of pets and yummy food. Bones has been gaining weight nicely. His spine is still a little visible under his fur but he's eating and gaining weight like a champ! Bones is estimated to be 7 years old, neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested positive for FIV. This means he has a compromised immune system but cats with FIV can live long and healthy lives like non-FIV cats.
