Sweet Boots is a little shy with new people, but he warms up. In addition to being playful and adventurous with other cats, he's also happy entertaining himself with whatever toys he can find, from crumpled paper to jingly balls.
Be sure to give Boots time to get used to his new home: He's been in the shelter for most of his life and he'll need some time to adjust to his new surroundings.
