Boots showed up as a friendly young stray. The vet estimated his age at about 2 years old.
Boots is a sweet and gentle boy who was diagnosed with a slight heart murmur, but he did fine under anesthesia when he was neutered. Our vet wrote a letter explaining his condition for whomever adopts him and gave him a good prognosis. He doesn't require any special care, but yearly vet checkups are recommended, as with any other cat.
Right now Boots is in a private foster home, and arrangements can be made to meet him with an approved application.
