Bowling

Hello, my name is Bowling! I'm a quiet and shy female, medium-haired Tortoiseshell with an estimated DOB of 4/21/19. I have cute freckles around my nose and a "lipstick" mouth. I wear a lime green collar w/ black clasp. Raised in a small apartment surrounded by many of my feline family, I became quite satisfied snuggling with them, but I had less opportunity to interact with humans. I arrived at Wild Blue with heavily matted fur and scared. With their help my painful mats were shaved away and I now enjoy gentle strokes on my bare back and rump. I prefer slow tender love and I'm happy being petted all over. My favorite are some rump rubs - they make me raise my rear end in happiness! My trust with human touch has grown more each day and I thrive in a quiet setting. I shy away with loud noises and lots of activity until all is calm again. I am learning about sitting in laps, and treats help me enjoy lap time even more! I'm ok with being brushed which is good so that together we can maintain my silkiness as my fur grows back in. Because I have not had much human interaction in the past, it would be best if I could go to a quiet home where my adopters would help me continue my growth and come out of my shell slowly. I dream of a calm transition where I can bloom at my own pace, feeling safe and cherished. Older children (12 years and up) who will respect my space and teach me to play with wand toys and laser lights would be wonderful. In a new home, I will need time to adjust in a small space until I feel at ease, and gradually be allowed access to other rooms in the home.
