Brynli

I read somewhere while doing research that the name Brynli means 'a victorious and praised woman', so I knew once I laid eyes on this lovely 2 year old that it was perfect for her. The gorgeous girl arrived to us from no other than Southside Sandi on 4/23/24 after having been in her care post-op (spay)for about 10 days. She was a tender, timid torbie who had certainly seen her unfair share of bad days while roaming around Jefferson St. alone and afraid, so it wasn't surprising to all of us that our little sweetheart needs a bit of space and solitude to feel secure: "Sweet little Brynli is going to need a quieter home with no dogs or small kids. She is starting to open up a little more and allow us to hold her, but can still be quite skittish. She will need someone that understands that she is a shy girl who will need a lot of patience and be allowed to go at her pace. She LOVES to be up high and is most content when she can be just out of reach, but still be talked to and fussed over. In the last couple weeks she has been walking around the shelter with a little more confidence, and seems to get along great with other cats. Perhaps living with a quieter female cat would help boost her self esteem even more. She is one of the most unique looking girls with her very soft orange and brown medium haired coat, and her little white slippers."
