Hello there, I'm Buckie! I was a cherished lap cat my whole life, but one day my person left, pushed my housemates and I outside, shut and locked the door, and there we were. Homeless. We were heartbroken. Luckily, Magicats was alerted and took us into foster care. Me --a gentle soul, am ready to share a purr or head bump. Not one for wild adventures, but still playful at 5 yrs old, I prefer simple pleasures: a cozy chair to sit next to you, sunny window sill or a soft caress. A bit cautious at first, but don't mistake that for shyness. I just take my time to trust ( can you blame me?), but once I do, I'm your friend for life. I love my people, but not necessarily other cats, so being the "one and only" would suit me fine. I'll make a wonderful companion for someone who loves the calm, soothing presence of a cat. I lived a few years with a small dog, but I'm not comfortable around children. Adopt me and gain a loyal, loving friend for life. Will you give me a second chance to be that kitty once again?
