Buddy

Buddy is a handsome DSH gray with white tabby male born approximately 8/2/2016. Buddy is very affectionate. He loves people, cuddling, all-over scritches, and tummy rubs. He's a lap cat, but also extremely playful. He enjoys cat trees and toys. He may be shy if you meet him at our adoption center, as he is uncomfortable with the cages, fluorescent lights, and cacophony of other animals. Buddy gets along very well with other cats in a home situation. He's more charming with the girls, wants to boss the boys, and is friendly with all. He is currently fostering in a home with a large, sociable dog, and both are adjusting well. Buddy is confident in the house, non-aggressive when the exuberant dog wants to play (but definitely a cat!), and he has even initiated some playful interactions himself. Also, he understands how doorknobs work, so needs an eye kept on him when opening exterior doors. Buddy was previously adopted through NBCR, but somehow slipped out of that home and was later found miles away by a good Samaritan, thin and a bit worse for wear. Thankfully he is microchipped (although never registered by the adopter) and was returned to NBCR. He is healthy again, putting on weight, and VERY happy to be safe inside, being pampered and loved. His former adopter has not responded to NBCR's contact attempts, so Buddy is available and ready to find his new truly forever home. Buddy is microchipped and currently in a foster home.
