My Story

Bug Animal ID: SAPA-A-70429 Sex: Neutered Male DOB: 05/01/2024 Breed: Domestic Shorthair Color: Grey and White Medical/Behavioral Issues? No Good with Dogs? Yes Good with Other Cats? Yes Good with Kids? Yes Litter Box Trained? Yes At only 2-weeks old, Bug was found all alone on the Southside of San Antonio. Since rescued by San Antonio Pets Alive, he has been entertaining his foster family (including 3 dogs and 4 cats) non-stop with his antics. It's always fun to wake up to a mound of unrolled toilet paper, or watch a tiny kitten stake claim to a huge dog bed! How can you not laugh at a little grey furball attempt to sneak off with a spaghetti noodle from your plate? What about watching a small feline chase much larger siblings around at maximum speed, then wrestle them down? Hilarious! Bug does enjoy more trivial pursuits, such as swatting at drawstrings hanging from mini-blinds, or climbing your leg like guys who ascend coconut trees with bare hands and feet. Needless to say, you probably won't accomplish as much as you would hope with this feline dynamo around. (It's difficult to clean his litterbox when he decides that's the perfect time to play in it like a sandbox. It's equally as hard to clean floors when he immediately needs to climb aboard or chase the Swiffer the second you bring it out.) Believe it or not, though Bug likes a bit of relaxation, too. In fact, snuggling with a canine sibling while making muffins in their fur is simply the best! Since Bug was raised with multiple dogs and cats, he would probably benefit from being adopted into a family with at least one other pet.
