Meet our brave and soulful warrior, Bushi!
Bushi, which is actually Japanese for warrior, perfectly suits this sweet fella because that is exactly what he is.
He was found on the streets of Philly limping with a slightly misaligned jaw. As it turns out, he was likely hit by a car or suffered some other unimaginable trauma while outside :,( He was fully checked by the vet and they noted he had a previous leg and jaw fracture that had since healed.
After even further examination (tests and x-rays), it was discovered that this poor baby had a bullet lodged directly next to his spine. Thankfully it didn’t hit his spine and it does not need to be removed.
As so many people don’t realize, the streets are so cruel to these beautiful creatures, and to say that Bushi is a lucky warrior may be the understatement of the decade.
Despite all of this hardship, Bushi continues to seek out love from humans. He can also live with other cats as he was living in a colony when he was found.
Bushi is neutered, vaccinated, combo-tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped. He is ready for the happily ever after that has evaded him in his short life.
