Meet Buttercup, the adorable black kitten born on 11/23/23. It can be more difficult to find homes for black cats, but Buttercup is a treasure! Her sleek and shiny coat, along with her loving personality, makes her an ideal companion. This little girl loves to snuggle and has a purr that will melt your heart. While she can be a bit shy in new situations, Buttercup adjusts within a couple of days and blossoms into a confident and affectionate friend. Buttercup has been exposed to dogs and is adaptable to various household sizes, whether you're a single person, a couple, or a family with small children. She's just the right size for kids to enjoy her playful kitten antics without being too fragile. Give Buttercup a chance, and she will surely become a cherished member of your family. When adopting a kitten, consider a second kitten to avoid "single kitten syndrome". Two kittens keep each other busy, get into less trouble, are better socialized and can keep each other company while you're gone. When introduced properly, most cats and kittens adjust well to children and other pets in the home. It's critical that cats have a safe place to retreat to if interactions become overwhelming and that all early interactions are well supervised. All our cats and kittens are litter box trained, spayed or neutered, up-to-date on shots and worming and have been treated for fleas. They also are microchipped with a complimentary registration fee. The fee for all our cats and kittens is $175 plus tax, with a $50 discount for adopting a second cat or kitten.
