Hello new friend! My name is Buzz and I'm so happy to meet you! I'm around 6 years old, and I've been a resident at Doe Eyes Animal Sanctuary and Rescue for a while now, and while I do enjoy spending time with my kitty friends here, I would love to live in a furever home with people that I could spend more time with. I'm a love to be the center of attention so when people are hanging out with us I love to immediately greet them and rub legs, and get all the pets. I love making biscuits, purring, and getting head scratches and could just do that all day long. The rescue says that it's harder to find a home for me because I have FIV, but I wish that more people knew that FIV is very low risk for transmission because it doesn't get transmitted through sharing food/water or grooming and is only transmitted through intercourse or a deep bite, and I would NEVER bite another kitty like that if they were friendly with me because I am such a gentle and friendly cat. I have lived with FIV negative kitties for years and they have never gotten it from me. But I could also happily live as a solo kitty if someone didn't want to take that chance.... as long as you promise to play with me often and give me some attention!
