Hi, I'm Calliope! I'm an independent and friendly gal who was fortunately scooped off the streets by a vet tech! She brought me to Furry Friends and got me all fixed up, and now I'm living my best life. Head rubs all the way! Except I really don't want to live at a shelter for the rest of my life. I want to go to a real home with my forever person. I'm still a young gal with a lot of personality - but I am well past all those kitten antics of pouncing, chasing and climbing - I am more into "chillaxin!" I had a bit of a rough start in life by living on the street, but all that is behind me and I'm ready for a fresh start with a new human who wants to give this gal a chance at the good life. I love getting treats and head rubs from people, and I'll be more than happy to come over for food. The second you grab that food can, I'll run right over! When you first meet me, I might seem a little aloof, but I'm actually very social and love to say hello! What do you say? Will you give this good girl a chance?
