Carter came into rescue from a feral colony in Hayward. Although Carter was very quiet and reserved when first coming into his foster home, he has quickly made himself at home and turned into quite the cheeky chappie! He is a very curious and adventurous little guy, but once you are able to catch him, he will melt into a purring little puddle in your arms, and let you tickle his tummy. Even though he loves nothing better than to explore and tear around the house in search of an adventure, Carter has been very sweet and well mannered in his foster home. He is the perfect combination of affectionate and yet full of character. He adores playing with Mela, a beautiful medium haired grey kitten in his foster home. It would be great if they can be adopted together., as they enjoy playing with each other very much. If not, he would definitely do best with another young-ish cat in the household to keep him company. Carter has been around kids, and is very patient and tolerant.
