Cheeseball

Cheeseball is a former stray who we found and brought inside in early June. He was altered on 7/8 and has adjusted quite nicely to being an indoors-only boy. He figured the litter box out immediately and only scratches on designated scratching posts. He's dopey and submissive with his people. He responds well to redirection and is eager to please. He's a lot like the country cousin who's just moved to the big city and is still figuring things out. I love his gigantic ears and the cute little freckle on his nose. "Cheesy Boy" is a talker, likes pets and snuggles, and once he knows he's in a safe place, he's got a lot of energy for play. He has a strong prey drive and is an excellent bug killer. When he falls asleep, he adorably sprawls out with his belly up. He seems to be young and is in good health. Cheeseball has never been aggressive with our other cats, but is definitely cautious while still curious and warming up more every day. He hasn't been dog-tested, but he's a brave boy and I think he would do well. He loves catnip and treats, and although he doesn't like being held he will absolutely curl up and fall asleep in your lap. He has all the makings of an outstanding housecat, he just doesn't know it yet. We love him and we want him to find a forever home with someone looking for a boy cat that is social, affectionate, and still has a lot of cute kitten energy.
