My Story

Handsome orange boy, Cheeto. He's so excited to be rescued. Cheeto is a young fellow maybe 2-4 years old who found himself outside on his own for a while. When he came into rescue, he was confused and uncertain about what this was all about. But gradually he has come to realize that he is loved and this is a good thing. He was certainly someone's cat before he ended up as a stray. He remembers what it is to be pet and he loves to be pet. Sometimes he can get a little overstimulated and he'll put his paw up to stop; it is all just so wonderful that it's too much. But every day is better and he does love to have a safe home inside with love and care. He has a great purr and tries hard to let you know how much he appreciates all the love and care. He seems fine with the small dog in the foster home. We're not sure about cats but he might be just fine. He will need a safe place to go outside to enjoy nature time. In Houston. Call 907 980-8898 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ All of the adult cats with Clear Creek Cat Rescue have been neutered or spayed, are current on all of their vaccines including rabies, and most are also microchipped. Our usual adoption fee is $80 for adults and $145 for kittens. But some cats are sponsored and have a lower adoption fee. Please check individual listings for special adoption fees. CCCR provides a 10-day trial placement period during which time the adopted cat can be returned, for any reason, for a full refund. Regardless of time, we will always take the cat back as space allows. We do NOT allow declawing. If you are interested in adopting or learning more about any of these cats, please call 907 980 8898 or email [email protected] Although many of our cats have a reduced, or no, adoption fee, please feel free to make a contribution to help another cat be rescued. If you would like to sponsor any of these cats by paying their adoption fee, or a part of the fee, you can do so by using the 'Donate' button on our website, or contact us by phone or email to donate by mail. All contributions are tax-deductible.
