Chevy and her brother, Silverado, were found in a junkyard in the cab of a Chevy Silverado!
They were originally adopted from and returned to another rescue that asked us to take them in.
Chevy is a little shyer than her brother but they are very bonded and she gets a lot of her confidence from him. Since they are so bonded, they must be adopted together. They are approx 1 year old.
Chevy (and consequently her brother, Silverado) was returned to us because her adopters said she had diarrhea that they could not get to stop. They took her to the vet several times, had tests done, and nothing came back positive. After three months, they felt they could no longer keep her.
Since she's been back at the rescue, she has not had diarrhea. We don't know if it was a behavioral issue but she and Silverado have been fine, just as they were before adoption.
