My Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This beautiful Bengal is Chile. It's important to know that he is FeLV+ and will need to be an only cat or in a home with other FeLV+ cat(s). Click here to learn more about Feline Leukemia. Chile spent his first 6 years in a small cage being used to breed, so he doesn't know how to "cat" yet and doesn't really trust people. He will need his own room or space for a while, and a family who will be patient and respect his boundaries. He would probably do best in a house with another felv+ cat or friendly dog as he seems to be slightly less nervous when other animals are around. If you're up for obtaining that wonderful feeling of winning over a scared kitty, Chile might be a good fit for you! Chile will need to be fed mainly wet food due to having many teeth extracted. Chile is from a breeder release. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about Ruff Start's adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
