My Story

What my friends at ACC say about me: Chooky was at the front, standing tall and allowed all petting, raising his read with every pet along the lower back, raising the kurunda bed each time! He walked out of the kennel on to the floor and was calm when picked up and set back turning quickly to face the assessor. He ignored treats but then began head bunting in response to head petting. Chooky interacts with the observer, solicits & appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience or demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior and they should be counseled about the circumstances connected to his one bite incident. Please check here for updated adoption hours. A volunteer writes: Chooky's the type who would thoroughly enjoy managing the logistics around errands. He acts like everything is fun, totally exciting, and the best reason ever to wake up and greet the day. Each time I've opened Chooky's condo door, he's come forward in a burst of joy to join me in whatever it was I had to do. Dinner time? This is excellent! Fluffing up blankets? Well, there he is looking on with astonishment because it's his favorite and he knows how to help. Chooky seems to want to be in the middle, thereby making whatever the activity is entirely secondary because he is distractingly cute. Pushing his head into my hand like the world's most adorable bulldozer, Chooky settled into pets when I explained the cleaning was done and thought we could maybe just hang out, he treated it with equal excitement. Chooky was brought to us because his person passed away and is hoping to find a new start with a family who loves as fully as he does! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 16.8lbs Age: 5yrs 0mths 4wks Animal has been Neutered
