Claudette

Claudette is a beautiful, silky black seven-year old girl with a few small white markings on her chest and tummy. She was very reluctantly relinquished by her original family because another cat was bullying her, so she may or may not get along with another cat. She mostly ignores the other cats in her foster home, but does play chase occasionally. Claudette LOVES laying in the sun and is an avid bird watcher from our outdoor catio. She usually seeks out a lap a couple of times a day for naps. She likes to chase a laser pointer light and loves high perches, from which to survey her domain. She's a very quiet cat until she hears a can being opened, then it's time for the singing/complaining about the delay in getting the food into her bowl! Adopting a cat is exciting but also a very serious commitment which should be considered carefully. Cats can easily live between 13-20 years. If you cannot commit to this animal for its lifetime of care for up to 20 years - if you move, take your cat; if you add a baby to your family, keep the cat; etc - please consider adopting an adult cat verses a kitten. Claudette is currently living in a foster home in Grand Rapids.
