Cleo

*** Cleo is at our Petsmart Aero adoption center. *** Black/orange tortoiseshell, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 12/18/22, #19217 Cats: great solo, okay w/ slow intro Dogs: definitely not Children: older, calm children probably ok Cleo was found in a shopping center in El Cajon, where she was going from business to business, asking politely to be taken in and given a home. A former Rescue House volunteer spotted her and gave Cleo a safe space to stay until a spot opened up with us, where she is now eagerly awaiting her new permanent purrfect home! Cleo is a super friendly and affectionate kitty! She will take all the pets and chin rubs on offer and still be ready for more. Cleo loves to make herself cozy in your lap and will snuggle in for the long haul. While she enjoys being mellow, she's no couch potato! Chasing a laser light is always a fun activity, and Cleo can play for hours with a wand toy. (You'll definitely tire out before she does.) Then it's time to curl back up in your lap as you both get some well-deserved rest... and more chin scritches for her, please. Cleo occasionally likes being picked up but is more comfortable being a lap cat. Cleo is a wonderful solo kitty and would be delighted to have your undivided attention. She is comfortable with other laid-back cats so long as she gets a nice slow introduction to get to know one another. She has a firm opinion on dogs and wants them to stay as far away from her as possible. She doesn't have experience around children; we think she'd be fine with calm older kids.
