Clove is a very sweet boy who is happy to be in a home where he feels safe and cared for. His birthdate is unknown, but he is approximately 10 years old based on vet estimates. He has been with his fosters for a month, and his personality is blooming. Clove absolutely loves head pets and wants to constantly sit and sleep near his fosters. He is excellently behaved in the car for longer and short trips. However, he is not terribly fond of being picked up he is getting more used to this with time; we think in part it has to do with his past neglect that he is quickly recovering from. He is good in the veterinary waiting room but does not like being handled by the vet. Clove is curious about other cats and dogs, and we think we would do well in a house with other animals. For the time being, it is best that he is not in a house with young children who might not understand that he does not want to be lifted.
