Clover

If you’re looking for a kitten who’s full of fun and will make you feel good all over, you’ve got to meet me. I’m Clover, a 2 ½ month old, orange tabby and white kitten who was born in a foster home on April 5 after our mama Honeybear was found in Eyota in March. There were originally five kittens, but one was stillborn. We are all named for varieties of honey, and Clover honey is popular for its sweet, mildly floral taste. My foster mom calls me the adventurer of the group because I am the first to try anything new. As the poet, William Blake, wrote, “A busy bee has no time for sorrow.” According to my foster mom, my motto is to “run fast, climb high, wrestle hard, and nap even harder!” I don’t mind being held, and I enjoy purr-ty much any kind of toy or play activity. One of my favorite games was a trick my sister, brothers, and I played on our foster family. We’d hide under a blanket and then pop out to try to scare them! Boo! I loved playing with Mama too, and I would love to be adopted with any one of my family members. Home is where your honey is, so make sure that one of your “honeys” is me, Clover!
