My Story

Coda is an extremely sweet and squishy kitty. She communicates with her very expressive tail, wiggling it back and forth when she's feeling affectionate or playful. Coda loves to snuggle up in bed, especially with her feline foster siblings. It's a great day if she can convince them to lick her face! When she's happy, she scrunches up her mouth into a little grin Coda is super playful and can often be heard chasing her sisters up and down the cat tree. She loves chasing toys, especially little mice and pom poms. She'll also take care of any rogue flies for you. Coda gets lactulose (an inexpensive prescription stool softener) once a day in her food to keep her stools moving well. This is a precaution since a couple of her littermates were treated for megacolon as kittens. Luckily Coda has never had symptoms, but adopters should be willing to monitor and treat if any issues arise in the (hopefully very distant) future. learn more about megacolon here:https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/megacolon-in-cats Approximate DOB: May 2023 Foster Home Location: Madison Consider adopting 2 kittens! There are many benefits including: - One kitten can become lonely and bored - Two kittens will keep each other busy - Having two kittens is very entertaining! - You'll have fewer behavioral issues with two kittens - You'll save TWO lives instead of just one - Adoption fee is discounted for the 2nd kitten If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful cats or kittens, you can apply on our website: https://www.commcat.org/copy-of-adopt-a-bff Please allow several days for us to process your application. We are a small, all-volunteer group and we are doing our best to work quickly! After the application is processed we will make arrangements for you to meet the cats that interest you. All of our cats and kittens are raised in our homes and live with us until they are adopted. They live with us as part of our families so we know them very well and we can help you find your perfect cat!
